The Yowie is baaaack

The good old Yowie chocolate + toy is back in Australia. Originally launched in Australia and NZ back in 1995 by Cadbury and Kidscorp the Yowie featured much loved characters created by best selling authors Bryce Courtenay and Geoff Pike and became hugely popular, selling more than 65 million units.

If you are a child of the 90's you most probably remember Rumble, Boof, Crag, Ditty, Nap and Squish and their animal friends.

The Yowie was discontinued around 2005 after a dispute between Cadbury and the Yowie creators BUT now, they are back!

The Yowie Group, a Perth based licensing company bought the rights to the Yowie back in 2012 and they've been producing and selling the chocolate in the USA with great success.

But now they are bringing the Yowie back to our Aussie shores!

And we have them in store here at Sweet Traditions.

Our first shipment sold out in just a few days. We didn't anticipate the popularity of the Yowie's return so we have upped our game and ordered in more stock AND they arrived in store today!

Buy in store or online here.
